| In the first six years of life, your child’s
right brain is open and primed to absorb incredible
amounts of information. Children with early exposure
to quality topics during this time such as math,
reading and writing, culture, music etc create
a rich knowledge library that they’ll tap into
for the rest of their lives. The Learning Hub
offers a gentle program tailored to help you take
optimum advantage of this highly active right
brain learning period.
Currently our education system favours the left
side of the brain. The process of learning through
drills, repetition, tests and quizzes depend upon
the linear, methodical left brain, which builds
memory through logical links and repetition. The
right hemisphere of the brain is largely neglected.
Visual stimulation can help traditional learning
by developing and sharpening children’s right-brain
photographic memory capabilities, visualisation
skills, intuition and creativity. Sadly, this
is an area that is not given much emphasis at
schools as the focus is often on grades!
The goal of Right Brain Education is to enable
the full, balanced functioning of both sides of
your child’s brain by nurturing the often-neglected
right brain. In doing so, Right Brain Education
results in a greater whole-brain intelligence,
creativity, harmony and well-being than most educational
programs alone can produce.
Right Brain Education is not a curriculum — it
is a way to complement and boost the effectiveness
of whatever educational programme your child may
already be engaged.
